Meet FSTE’s President: Nancy Kuznicki
Meet Nancy Kuznicki
FSTE President
FL Master Digital Educator
Apple Distinguished Educator
Incredibly passionate about FSTE, President Nancy Kuznicki is focused on growing this organization, making a difference for Florida educators and seeing FSTE host its first major conference. I asked Nancy to tell us a little about her background in educational technology. Here is what she has to say about her amazing experiences!
Nancy: I have been in education for 25 years. Currently I am a retired teacher and working as a consultant with school districts, teachers and students integrating vast technology resources into teaching and learning, writing curriculum, and providing training workshops.
I spent the first six years of my teaching, learning along side my students in the classroom, all of the awesome and creative ways we could learn using technology. I was a site based technology coordinator for over ten years where I expanded my teaching and learning across grade levels. I spent the last years of my teaching career as a district technology integration facilitator where I developed and delivered training courses, initiated integration projects and visited classrooms to mentor.
I was selected as an Apple Distinguished Educator in 2003, a Florida Master Digital Educator in 2006, and president of the Florida Society for Technology in Education (ISTE state affiliate), a non-profit organization focused on quality professional development and networking for teachers. My passion for technology and teaching and learning has blossomed into a dedicated profession of working with teachers and students using technology tools to leverage real world learning and I love every minute!
Nancy,
It is great to see that you are the FSTE President. Pinellas should be very proud.
